Old Business:
Well if you missed the B-B Que at Mikes house, you missed a good time. You know, I vote that we have all our annual parties at the DeSchalits' house, all in favor? It was a nice spread of hot dogs, burgers, baked beans, salad and all the fixins. We did however miss Frank Lutz and his spectacular micro brews this year. All in all attendance was good and everyone got their fill. Mucho mucho thanks to Billie DeSchalit because we all know that without her Mike could never pull it off. Thanks you two we really appreciate all the work.

I believe our website is safe. Mark has informed us that he received a new grant and is able to keep our cyber spot in the same place. If you haven't visited the site check it out sometime, it's very cool.

LECTURE UPDATE:
The Jeff Mcbride lecture is still a possibility but confirmation by the booking agent has yet to occur. So hold your breath, just kidding- unless you want to, and think positive.

New Business
This month was the time for STARS auditions. Everyone interested turned in their auditions and the Stars committee met to pick the performers for this years show. The results are as follows. Gene Collins, John Shyrock, Norm Marini, Tom Potter, Bruce Spell, Mary Worman, Mike DeSchalit, Allan Rasco, Adrian VanVactor and Rod Robison. The line-up will be decided at a later time. Now is the time to put your name in for any tech positions you would like to perform for the show. There are a lot of them and the show can't happen without the help of everyone involved. Talk to Mike.

GOOD OF THE ORDER
Our guests for the month were Jay Knapp and daughter-in- law of the famed Scribbles, Michelle McCabe. We are always happy to have new guests attend , heck it means we’re popular, but we love it when they join because it means we got their money , I mean it makes our club stronger ...you know.

If you haven't heard about WHAM you will. It’s an organization put together by big names in magic to unite and battle this thing we call EXPOSURE. The Magic Castle , SAM, IBM are all backers in the organization. They need to raise money for the ongoing fight and since we are an assembly of the SAM we voted to contribute $100 from our club. Contributions can also be made individually, if you'd like to here's how:

World Alliance of Magicians
